What a nice interview with Sarah! Thanks for the nice shout out for her mom, me! All the years of making cute lacey dresses and girly things, she wants a bee keeping suit! At least she likes to wear this home made outfit!
Keep up the good work. Love the dog corset, too.

Great job Betty! Loved the interview with Sarah & Mallory and thankful your family is helping out the bee population. Should I be worried when I drive down the street with my windows open? Zede, the dog corset was great, I made one of those years ago….but nothing as practical as the one you invented. Kudos to all of you!
Never underestimate the creative abilities of a seamstress! Great information, great ideas, and fun to watch as well!
Was wondering if you could e-mail a little more detail on the dog corset? My friend and I have bassets and I can think of a number of times your idea would have come in handy. Thanks for any help you can give.
Hi Mary!
The dog corset was basically a tube that hooked onto a harness. With close fitting dog garments, you have to fit the garment to the specific dog. There was boning sewn into this corset, because we were having trouble with it riding up on a 100lb German Shepherd- you may not have this problem with your bassets, as long as you have velcro tabs that fasten around a harness. The closure on the corset is wide velcro strips that run through buttonholes on the other side of the corset. I think you can see that in the video ok.
If you end up making a dog corset, please show us!!!
